Background

Along with a group of other talented creatives, I started a South Asian-led editorial magazine based in Austin, TX called Saffron Magazine. I was the Design Director and Photography Director and helped lead this organization to its first issue. As the Design Director, I was responsible for the overall look of the magazine and managed the art direction and design of the entire issue. As the Photography Director, I managed a team of 8 photographers and provided guidance and feedback for all the shoots. This org helped foster a space for other South Asian creatives to create incredible work and it was truly fulfilling to be a part of.
